Some authors prefer to place their manuscript LaTeX source files in a subfolder, and other research artefacts (figures, tables, etc) in another subfolder. This example shows how this workflow can be maintained on Overleaf, by providing a top-level main.tex that pulls in the real main LaTeX file from the subfolder using the import package.

This template outlines the different sections that are required for the reports for the lab course in TNM079 at Linköping University. You are encouraged to use the source for this template to produce your own lab reports. Each section title is followed by a short description and possible requirements. First out is the abstract. It should give a rough overview of the report, including purpose, key insights and major conclusions. It can additionally include a brief description of the methods used. The abstract should consist of 100 to 200 words. Remember that a good lab report does more than present results; it demonstrates the writer's comprehension of the concepts and insights behind the methods.

This thesis/dissertation template is created for the graduate students of Khalifa University, following the Graduate Office requirements. It allows an easy switch between PhD Dissertation and MSc Thesis and between the final version and thesis/dissertation proposal. In this experiment we conducted bending tests on several different specimens of Aluminum as well as Ceramics. Using the data gathered from these tests as well as measurements we took of their primary dimensions, we calculated (for each specimen) modulus of rupture, flexure strain, Young's modulus, as well as specific strength and stiffness. These tests gave us insight into new characteristics of aluminum and ceramics that allowed us to better understand their applications in industry.
