We warmly invite the scientific community to \textbf{NetSci 2027 in Dresden, Germany} from May 17 to 21. The 21\ts{st} NetSci conference, and the first to be held in Germany, will take place at the OSTRADOME Dresden. Together with you, we want to connect disciplines, methods, and scientific communities by “Breaking Bad Boundaries”.
Dresden, the capital of Saxony, combines Baroque architecture and cultural heritage with a long tradition of scientific and technological work. The city accomodates one of the highest densities of research institutions in Europe, where physics, biology, engineering, and the arts are separated only by a short tram ride.
As the flagship conference of the Network Science Society, NetSci 2027 will provide a forum for sharing discoveries, debating ideas, and identifying emerging questions in and adjacent to network science. The program will span how networks shape our world across social systems, epidemiology, ecology, neuroscience, infrastructure, economics and finance, cultural and historical analysis, graph machine learning, and artificial intelligence. Across these areas we will explore where concepts and methods travel productively between fields. Alongside the main program, satellites, tutorials, poster sessions, and community events will support exchange among researchers at all career stages and across scientific and geographical borders.
The local, program, and advisory committees are preparing an exciting and inclusive conference that welcomes established perspectives and new voices alike. We look forward to welcoming you to Dresden for NetSci 2027, to exchange ideas, forge collaborations, and spend a week with us on the Elbe.
