London – May 26: Overleaf is excited to announce a new partnership with Oxford University Press (OUP). Through this partnership, authors submitting to OUP’s Biostatistics journal will have access to the award winning Overleaf collaborative cloud-based writing and reviewing tool with 1-click submission into the Biostatistics’ ScholarOne submission system.

    OUP Biostatistics Template in Overleaf

The authoring and submission process for OUP’s Biostatistics journal has been simplified – authors can open the Biostatistics journal template in Overleaf via links in Biostatistics author guidelines or from within the Overleaf platform. Authors can immediately begin to write and/or collaborate with other authors using LaTeX source-code or Rich Text mode, per the author’s preference. Once the article is complete, a simple 1-click submission link is available within the authoring template, which will submit all files and necessary meta-data seamlessly to Biostatistics. The ability to easily open the Biostatistics template, write in the correct journal format, collaborate, and submit to the journal with 1-click is a clear win for authors.

Jeffrey Leek co-editor of Biostatistics says:

“We are incredibly excited to work with Overleaf to streamline the submission process for authors at Biostatistics. As a heavy user of Overleaf I consider the eased submission process a killer feature and I’m looking forward to introducing our authors to the simplified process.”

John Hammersley, Founder & CEO of Overleaf says:

“We’re very excited to be working with OUP and Biostatistics. Their excitement and forward thinking attitude to provide enhanced and simplified services for their authors make them a perfect partner.”
